Stop Wasting Time and Money on Quick Fixes

𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲?

When women come to see me, one of the things I often hear is:

"𝐼’𝑚 𝑏𝑎𝑑 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑚𝑦 𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑦, 𝐼 𝑠𝑒𝑒𝑚 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑎𝑦𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑐𝑘 𝑡𝑜 𝑝𝑎𝑦𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑐𝑘, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐼 𝑐𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑝𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑠 𝐼 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑑𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑑 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑚𝑦𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑓."

There is a lot you can do to help yourself, financial literacy is really important. But don’t seek financial literacy at the cost of taking real action.

These are 𝟑 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 that women try that are a waste of time and money.

  1. Purchasing Fancy Money Journals: that are colour-coded pink and has the bonus of some hacks on how to save money on your laundry powder. You don’t need it; a piece of paper will do. I like an Excel spreadsheet, but whatever works for you is best.

  2. An 𝟖-𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 – that you will unlikely finish. And if you do finish it, you will unlikely make any of the BIG changes you need to make to shift the needle.

  3. Consulting an 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐮. Yes, it may be cheaper, but it will cost you more in the long run. I’ve seen it go wrong many times. You end up needing to pay for real advice and have wasted five years.

𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝-𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞. 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫.

This is what will happen:

💲𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 – it does not have to be an epic, painful experience; I can help you finish it in under 30 minutes.

💲𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 tailored to you. Part of our Financial Planning program is financial education. You don’t need to become a fund manager or superannuation expert; I will give you the need-to-know knowledge and won't bombard you with jargon.

💲A 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 tailored to you and 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝. We do the leg work in setting you up with a strategy and system that works for you– I will not leave you with the instruction manual.
